We process personal data only insofar as this is necessary to provide this website, to answer your enquiries and to deliver our services. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract and pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure and functional operation of the website). This website does not use tracking or analytics services and no advertising cookies.
The website is operated on servers in the European Union. When you visit, access data is processed automatically: IP address, date and time, page accessed, amount of data transferred, browser and operating system. This data serves the security and stability of the operation and is deleted after 14 days at the latest, unless it is required to investigate a security incident.
If you contact us by email, for example for an onboarding call or the free trial, we process your details to handle the enquiry. The data is deleted as soon as the enquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.
On the demo page of the booking widget you can run through a sample booking at a fictitious hotel. Data entered (name, email, travel dates) is processed solely to present the demo and is deleted regularly. No contract is concluded. A payment in sandbox mode does not charge any real amounts. Payment processing is handled by PayPal (PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., Luxembourg); the payment provider's privacy policy applies.
In the demo chat your messages are transmitted to an AI provider to generate a reply. We use Anthropic PBC (USA) for this; the transfer is based on the EU standard contractual clauses. Please do not enter sensitive personal data in the demo chat. Demo chat histories are stored for quality assurance and deleted after 30 days at the latest.
For hotels using our services we process guest and booking data on behalf of the respective hotel on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. The controller for guest data is the respective hotel. Service providers used include channel managers (WuBook), payment providers (Stripe, PayPal), lock systems (Nuki), email services (Google Workspace) and AI providers (Anthropic). Details are governed by the data processing agreement with the hotel.
You have the following rights towards us regarding your personal data:
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Independent Centre for Data Protection Schleswig-Holstein (ULD), Holstenstraße 98, 24103 Kiel, Germany, PO Box 71 16, 24171 Kiel, phone +49 431 988-1200, email mail@datenschutzzentrum.de.
Transmission is encrypted via TLS. We take technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, manipulation and unauthorised access.
We adapt this privacy policy when the legal situation or our processing changes. The version published on this page at the time applies.
